Baby Steps: Raptor Edition
Privacy, in plain words
Last updated 7 October 2026
RaptorSteps is made for families to watch together. There are no accounts for kids, no sign-ups for kids, and we do not collect anything from children. The email list is for parents and grown-ups only.
Who we are
This site is published by Graylight Creative. Questions, or want something deleted? Email [email protected].
Children
- We do not ask children for their name, age, photo, voice, location or anything else.
- There are no child accounts, comments, chat or profiles.
- The “Join the pack” form is for parents and grown-ups. It says so, and it makes you tick a box saying you are one. If a child puts an email address in anyway, or you think one has, email us and we will delete it.
If you join the list
We keep: your email address; the time you agreed and which version of the wording you agreed to; whether you have confirmed; and two random codes used for the confirm and unsubscribe links in your emails. We do not keep your name, your IP address or what device you used.
- Double opt-in. We send one email asking you to confirm. Until you do, you are not on the list. An address that is never confirmed is deleted after 30 days.
- What we send. A note when a new episode is out. Nothing else, and we do not sell or share the list.
- Unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and mail apps show their own unsubscribe button. When you unsubscribe we keep the address only on a do-not-email list so we never write to it again. Ask us and we will erase it completely.
- Delivery. Our email delivery provider (SendGrid) handles your address to deliver those messages.
Videos
Episodes are hosted on YouTube. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), and it does not load at all until you press play, so just visiting this site sends nothing to YouTube or Google. Once a video is playing, YouTube sees that viewing under its own privacy policy. Prefer to skip the embed? Every episode page links to the video on YouTube.
This website
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, no social-media pixels.
- Fonts and images are served from this site. No third-party scripts.
- Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) sees ordinary technical request data, such as IP addresses, in order to deliver the site and keep it safe.
